Kalıcı diyaliz kateterlerinin uzun dönem sonuçları: tek merkez tecrübemiz

Aim: Tunneled dialysis catheters are generally not used as a primary access but bridging therapy until permanent is available. However, it has been stated that long-term use may be appropriate if needed. In our study, we aimed to reveal the patency rates of tunneled and frequency catheter-related diseases in large patient group.
 Material Method: Patients who referred center for catheter insertion procedure between 2017 2022 were retrospectively analyzed with respect durations. The duration patients’ repetitive admissions due dysfunction, cause dysfunction applied achieve noted. Kaplan- Meier survival analysis was calculate catheters.
 Results: 1010 procedures performed on 464 patients creation or dysfunction. 309 excluded from study short-term follow-up lack data. Of remaining 155 211 sites included 467 interventional data analyzed. mean 10.50±10.25 months secondary 18.00±13.77 months. 6, 12, 24-month overall 91.1 %, 83.9 % 77.9% respectively
 Conclusion: Although catheters, which should first choice arteriovenous access, have associated comorbidities, they method satisfactory when other types suitable.
